Dr. Radha Shelat, President and CEO at Nevis Networks, has over 24 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and in executive positions in leading hi-tech companies. She is passionate about technology - innovation, design, and delivery of solutions from India as well as in mentoring talent to provide technology leadership globally.

 

She has been at the helm of Nevis Networks India Ltd since 2010. Nevis Networks provides LAN security solutions for very large and small enterprise networks. Nevis is amongst a handful of companies that designs and builds world class hi tech solution in India for delivery to global and Indian customer.

 

Dr. Radha Shelat was CTO for Symantec India. During her long tenure at Veritas Software (later Symantec India), she was amongst a few engineers who started the company in Pune, India and played a vital role in the growth of the company to a large development centre for the entire range of Veritas storage technologies. She holds several patents in the file systems space. 

 

Dr. Shelat holds a Ph.D from the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, and has taught and consulted at the IIT, Bombay and the IIM, Ahmedabad.

 

She has been a very active sports woman. She was member of India women’s cricket team in its early years as well as member of University badminton and table tennis team. She is passionate about environmental conservation and very keen on application of technology in that direction.
